The 2023 RTS Television Journalism Awards were a night to remember. Held at the luxurious London Hilton on Park Lane, the awards ceremony recognized outstanding journalism across 20 competitive categories. Wolftech was honoured to once again sponsor the prestigious Awards ceremony, in partnership with Dataminr.
Wolftech was delighted to participate in such a distinguished event honouring journalism excellence. Hosted by Dan Walker of 5 News, the evening celebrated the creativity and excellence of journalists from all over the UK. Thanks to our guests from the BBC & ITV, we had a fantastic evening with them alongside our key partner Dataminr.
Celebrating many important stories in an enormous year for News, each covered with dedication, integrity and skill, the wide range of first-class entries made the event all the more exciting. Our customers the BBC led the way with 11 wins, followed by ITV with 5 wins. New for this year was the Political Journalist of the Year category, with ITV1’s Paul Brand taking the prize home. The Innovation Award and On-Demand Journalism category were also introduced, recognizing high-quality and informative submissions, with the BBC taking out both categories
